The episode begins in Om and Malika’s bedroom. Malika taunts a distressed Om, pointing out that he managed to arrange money for his own needs but fails when it comes to household expenses. She sarcastically calls his inability to save Ram Bhavan “unbelievable.” She presents him with an agreement, offering to pay the remaining five lakh rupees needed to save the house if he signs over his share of the property to her. She mocks him, calling him all talk and no action, and tells him to be a good son for once.
Torn between his promise to his father and Malika’s manipulative offer, Om remembers his father’s plea to save Ram Bhavan. Feeling cornered and with time running out, he reluctantly takes the papers from a triumphant Malika. Just as he looks at the agreement, Isha walks into the room. She sees the papers and asks Om what he is thinking. Om, hiding his turmoil, remembers his father’s last wish and tells Isha they only have one day left. He dismisses her concern, telling her to sleep, as they have a long day ahead. Both lie in bed, awake with worry, as the night passes.
The next morning, Om is at his office, visibly frustrated. He recalls the lawyer’s demand for 8-10 lakh rupees and Malika’s blackmail. He then visits a corrupt official, Mr. Bhatia, to ask for a loan. Om explains his desperate situation, but Bhatia offers him the money in exchange for approving some illegal files. Remembering Isha’s belief in him and his own principles, Om refuses to take the bribe, choosing the path of honesty despite the immense pressure.
Later, the entire family is gathered anxiously in the living room as the lawyer arrives, announcing that the 48-hour deadline is over. Isha tries to buy more time, insisting Om will arrive soon. Just then, Om walks in. Malika smirks, confident that he has given in to her demand. However, the lawyer delivers a shocking piece of news: the stay order has been successfully sanctioned because the full amount has been deposited. When a stunned Malika asks who paid the money, the lawyer declares it was Om Ramdas Vajpayee. The family erupts in joy, hugging Om, while Malika is left speechless, staring at the unsigned papers in her hand.
Amidst the celebration, Jagdish asks Om how he managed to arrange the money. In a flashback, we see Isha meeting with her ex, Dhruv, in his office. She has taken a job with his company and asks for a two lakh rupee advance, which he agrees to. Back in the present, Om reveals that while he arranged for a part of the money, it was Isha who secured the remaining two lakhs. The family praises Isha, but Malika is suspicious. Jagdish asks Isha how she got a job and such a large advance so quickly. Isha lies, stating she got a job and they were kind enough to give her an advance.
Later, in their room, Om thanks Isha for her support. Isha reassures him, saying they are a team. When Om questions how she got such a big advance on her first day, Isha cleverly diverts the topic by starting to tidy the messy room, avoiding his question. Om is left with a lingering doubt. Another flashback reveals the truth: the phone call Om received on his bike was from the corrupt official, Bhatia, confirming their deal. Om had, in fact, taken the bribe to save his home.
Furious and defeated, Malika goes to the terrace and burns the unsigned agreement. She is determined to uncover the truth about how Isha got the money. She calls her contact, Amitabh, and instructs him to find out everything about Isha’s new job. The episode ends with a preview for the next day, showing riots in the city, Om being attacked by a mob, and Isha in a car with Dhruv, being stopped by the police in a red alert zone.
