Instead of being a passive elder, she was portrayed as sharp, wise, and two steps ahead of the villain, which was a welcome change.
The performances were strong across the board. The actress playing Sonali effectively conveyed the pain and helplessness of being falsely accused. Ritu’s character was convincingly spiteful, making her eventual downfall all the more gratifying for the audience. However, the star of the episode was undoubtedly Baa. Her calm demeanor, sharp observation skills, and ultimate checkmate move made her the hero of the day.
The only weak point was, once again, the character of Chirag. His inability to stand firmly by his wife in the face of accusations makes him seem weak and easily manipulated. While this creates conflict, it can become frustrating for viewers over time. Overall, it was a well-paced and engaging episode that resolved the immediate conflict while setting up future emotional hurdles for the main couple. It successfully mixed the bitterness of betrayal with the sweetness of justice.
