The episode begins with Shailma angrily confronting Moinak. She is furious that he is interfering in her family matters and asks who he is to question her. She tells him that since he is perfectly healthy now, he should leave her house. Shailma accuses him of being overly concerned with Gauri and her political ambitions, warning him that she knows who he is, even if others don’t. She threatens to ruin Gauri’s political dreams and tells him to get out before Ishan throws him out. Moinak defends himself, stating he wasn’t eavesdropping and that he is not supporting Gauri with any ill intentions. He turns the accusation back on Shailma, suggesting she is the one using his name with Gauri for her own selfish reasons.
The scene shifts to the family gathered in the living room, looking worried. They question Gauri’s sudden decision to withdraw from the election. Gauri, visibly distressed, says it was a mistake for her to enter politics and that she has caused enough trouble for the family. Everyone, including a sad-looking Tara, tries to change her mind, but Gauri remains firm. When Moinak arrives and also questions her, she repeats her desire to stay away from politics. Her husband, Ishan, looks particularly upset by her decision.
Later, the atmosphere in the house becomes festive as the family celebrates Janmashtami. The hall is beautifully decorated, and a puja is in progress. Tara is dressed as little Krishna, looking adorable. Gauri, Paula, and other family members are all dressed in traditional attire, participating in the celebrations. The children are excited, especially for the Dahi Handi ceremony. A man named Debu arrives, and his presence brings more joy to the gathering.
Suddenly, the festive mood is shattered. Shailma, now dressed in a white saree with sunglasses and a head covering, storms in with her political followers holding campaign posters. She furiously demands that they stop the celebration, declaring that Krishna puja cannot take place in a house where Goddess Mahakali is worshipped. She moves to destroy the decorations, but Gauri bravely steps in her way.
Gauri confronts Shailma, arguing that there is no difference between gods and that devotion is what truly matters. She tells Shailma that it is people who create divisions. Tara, still dressed as Krishna, innocently asks Shailma if Krishna and Kali are different. Shailma dismisses the child, but Tara persists.
Later that night, Tara enters Shailma’s dimly lit room, holding a plate of prasad. Shailma is lying in bed, still angry. Tara calmly tells her the story of how Lord Krishna once took the form of Goddess Kali to protect Radha from the jealous Ayan Ghosh. She explains that Krishna and Kali are one and the same. As Tara speaks, a divine light envelops her. To Shailma’s utter shock and terror, Tara transforms into the powerful form of Goddess Kali, holding a weapon and with her tongue out. The episode ends with Shailma staring in disbelief at this divine vision.
