The episode opens with a chilling scene: Gauri Rathod and her entire family fall unconscious in their grand living room, one by one, victims of an unseen force. As the last of them succumbs, Rehan, now appearing sinister in a maroon suit, enters. He touches Gauri’s forehead, and she too loses consciousness. The opening credits roll.
Rehan, now with a more menacing demeanor, surveys the unconscious family members. He gloats about his impending transformation, revealing his ambition to become the all-powerful “Davansh Raj.” He eerily sings “Happy Birthday” to himself, hinting that this transformation coincides with a significant personal milestone.
Gauri is the first to awaken, disoriented. She frantically tries to rouse her family members – Dadi, Harsh, and others – who slowly regain consciousness, confused and weak. They quickly realize Rehan is missing, and Gauri fears he has gone to Mohana, the powerful Dayan. Their attempt to flee the mansion is thwarted as they are confronted at the main door by Mohana herself, flanked by her coven of Dayans. Mohana mockingly welcomes them, stating that guests don’t leave; they are welcomed. She declares that the next chapter of the “Antkatha” (end-of-story ritual) is about to begin.
The scene shifts to Rehan, now dressed in a black kurta, meditating within a glowing, fiery pentagram. A massive, shadowy demonic figure looms behind him, signifying the dark powers he is invoking. Mohana reveals that Rehan is undergoing the “Antkatha Vidhi” to become a full Davansh, and for this, the sacrifice of his entire family is required. The family is trapped within a “Dayan Chakra,” a protective magical circle made of black ash, which Mohana claims only their souls (after death) can cross. When Gauri attempts to breach it, she receives a painful shock.
Desperate, Gauri prays to Lord Shiva (Bholenath) for help. Her prayers are seemingly answered with the arrival of three ancient-looking women, the Prathamvanshis, accompanied by Sia, another mysterious supernatural being. The Prathamvanshis confirm the grave danger, explaining that Rehan is transforming and the “Pralay” (apocalypse) is imminent. Sia reveals that “Pratham Jal” (first/holy water) is their only hope, but it needs to be consecrated at the temple inside the house.
Meanwhile, Harsh, ever the charmer, tries to flirt with Betty, one of Mohana’s Dayans guarding the door, hoping to create a distraction. Gauri is mortified, but Betty curtly dismisses Harsh, revealing she is a Dayan and not interested. As Betty walks away, Gauri feels a moment of despair.
Inside, Mohana begins the final stages of Rehan’s transformation ritual, applying vibhuti (holy ash) to his forehead. The Dayans dance ecstatically around a bonfire. Mohana taunts Gauri, explaining that once the Dayan symbol is consumed by fire, Pralay will commence. She chillingly adds that Rehan’s old self is gone, and the Davansh will soon emerge. The sequence of events will be: Rehan’s statue’s eyes will open, then Rehan’s, and finally, the Davansh Rehan will kill Gauri (whom Mohana calls Rishwa).
Dadi pleads with Mohana to spare her children. Gauri bravely steps forward, stating that Mohana’s enmity is with her. Mohana, enjoying their pleas, uses her powers to control Dadi, whose eyes turn black, forcing her to walk towards the coven as a “tribute.” As Gauri screams for Rehan to wake up, a large black snake (presumably Sia or her magical aid) slithers into the house, distracting the Dayans at the door. Seizing the opportunity, Sia and the Prathamvanshis enter. Sia quickly informs Harsh that they need to reach the temple with the Pratham Jal.
The episode ends with a promo showing the fully transformed Davansh Rehan brutally attacking Gauri, setting the stage for a climactic confrontation.
Major Recap Points:
- Rehan’s Davansh Transformation Underway: Rehan actively begins the “Antkatha Vidhi” ritual, orchestrated by Mohana, to transform into a full-fledged, immensely powerful Davansh, which requires the sacrifice of his entire family.
- Sia and Prathamvanshis’ Intervention: Gauri’s family, trapped by Mohana’s Dayan Chakra, finds a sliver of hope with the arrival of Sia and the Prathamvanshis, who possess “Pratham Jal” that could stop the ritual if they can reach the temple inside the house.
Plot Twists & Key Revelations:
- Rehan’s Willing Participation: It’s confirmed that Rehan is not an unwilling pawn but actively seeks to become “Davansh Raj,” even at the cost of his family.
- The Antkatha Vidhi & Family Sacrifice: The ritual is named the “Antkatha Vidhi” (end-of-story ritual), and its completion explicitly necessitates the sacrifice of Rehan’s entire family.
- Betty is a Dayan: The seemingly ordinary girl, Betty, whom Harsh was trying to flirt with, is revealed to be one of Mohana’s Dayans.
- The Dayan Chakra: Mohana traps the family within a magical barrier made of black ash, the “Dayan Chakra,” which inflicts pain upon anyone trying to cross it.
- Pratham Jal as a Counter: Sia and the Prathamvanshis introduce “Pratham Jal” as a potential means to counter Mohana’s dark magic and Rehan’s transformation, but it needs to be consecrated in the house temple.
- Mohana’s Cruel Taunts & Control: Mohana takes sadistic pleasure in the family’s terror, even controlling Dadi to make her “entertain” the Dayans, highlighting her remorseless nature.
- Gauri as the Final Sacrifice: Mohana reveals that Gauri (Rishwa) will be the final sacrifice after Rehan fully transforms into Davansh.
Predicted Outcomes (Next Episode/Arc):
- Race Against Time to the Temple: The immediate focus will be on Sia, the Prathamvanshis, and Gauri’s family attempting to reach the temple with the Pratham Jal, navigating through Mohana’s Dayans and the increasingly dangerous environment.
- Completion of Davansh Transformation: Rehan is likely to complete his transformation into the full Davansh, unleashing immense destructive power, as indicated by the promo.
- Gauri’s Confrontation with Davansh Rehan: With Rehan fully transformed, Gauri will inevitably face him. This confrontation will test her powers and resolve, possibly leading to her own transformation or the revelation of hidden strengths.
- Effectiveness of Pratham Jal: The power and limitations of the Pratham Jal will be revealed. It might be a key to weakening Davansh or breaking Mohana’s enchantments, but its application will likely be fraught with challenges.
- Mohana’s Next Move: Even if the Pratham Jal shows some effect, Mohana will undoubtedly have counter-strategies and will try to ensure the Pralay (apocalypse) she desires comes to pass, potentially by directly targeting the Prathamvanshis or Sia.
