The episode opens in a grand, eerie hall where a dark ritual, the Antkatha Vidhi, is in full swing. Mohana, the powerful and sinister witch, orchestrates the ceremony with her coven of witches, all dressed in black. At the center of a glowing, demonic pentagram, Viaan sits in deep meditation, his body enveloped in a swirling red energy. His family, including his mother, aunts, and cousins, are trapped within a protective circle, watching in terror.
The situation escalates as the family sees Viaan’s grandmother with her eyes turned completely black, a chilling sign of demonic possession. Mohana smirks, her victory seemingly imminent. Gauri, whose true identity is Rishwa, is overcome with fear and desperation. She calls out to Viaan, pleading with him to break free from Mohana’s control. She reminds him of his true, protective nature and questions how he can witness his family’s humiliation without acting.
However, Viaan is no longer himself. He has transformed into a Davansh, a powerful half-demon, and a monstrous, fiery demonic entity looms behind him, symbolizing the dark power that has consumed him.
Mohana and her primary minion, Naksha, taunt Gauri relentlessly. Mohana proposes a cruel challenge: if Gauri, a Rishva, can defeat Naksha, one family member will be spared. But if she fails, Mohana will torture and kill them all. Left with no choice, Gauri accepts the fight to save her loved ones.
As the confrontation begins, Gauri realizes she must break the witches’ barrier. In a moment of brave sacrifice, she erases a part of the protective black-ash circle on the floor and later cuts her own arm with a shard of mirror, using her blood in a desperate attempt to channel power. The witches surround her, their mocking laughter filling the hall. Naksha attacks with a magical hairpin, but Gauri fights back fiercely, eventually getting her hands on the weapon.
Meanwhile, a parallel plan is set in motion. Viaan’s brother Arjun and another cousin attempt to rescue Sia and a mysterious, wise old woman with white braided hair, aiming to get them to the safety of a temple. The wise woman reveals the apocalyptic stakes: the ritual is meant to summon the Dayan Agni (Witch Fire), which will engulf the world. The only thing that can stop it is the Pratham Jal (First Water) from the time of the Samudra Manthan.
Back in the hall, Gauri’s courage is not enough. She is brutally overpowered by the witches and thrown to the ground. With Gauri defeated, the Davansh within Viaan unleashes its full power. In a horrifying display, he kills his entire family, their bodies falling lifelessly to the floor.
The Davansh then turns his attention to Gauri. He lifts her by the throat with his powers and flings her across the room. As she lies unconscious, he looms over her, his eyes glowing red, and chillingly congratulates her on her impending death. The episode ends on this dark cliffhanger, with the fate of Gauri and the world hanging in the balance.
