The episode opens with Gauri and her Nani rushing through a dense jungle, trying to escape. Gauri is holding her baby, Golu, tightly. They are being chased by two sinister-looking women, Mohana and her accomplice, who are revealed to be Dayans (witches). Gauri is scared and asks her Nani if they will be safe. Nani assures her that they must reach the Rewa village to escape the danger.
Gauri expresses her fear, saying they are out in the open and could be caught easily. Nani comforts her, saying they have to cross this dangerous path to reach the Rewa clan, where they will be completely safe. Gauri realizes she left her phone behind at Vihaan’s place and needs to retrieve it. They decide that for now, they need to find a safe place to hide. Gauri spots a temple and suggests they go there, believing no Dayan can enter a holy place. They quickly head towards the temple.
The two Dayans, Mohana and her follower, watch from a distance. The follower is frustrated that they cannot enter the temple due to its divine protection. Mohana is furious, stating she will not be defeated. She reveals that the baby is not just from the Daavansh (demon) lineage but also from the Rishva (divine) lineage, which is why he could enter the sacred ground. She commands her follower to find a way to capture the child.
Inside the temple courtyard, Gauri tearfully prays to the idols of Radha and Krishna, holding her baby close. She feels guilty for deceiving her family and putting her child in danger. Nani joins her, and they pray together for their safety.
Meanwhile, the Dayans see a man walking near the temple. The follower uses her dark magic to hypnotize him. His eyes turn completely black. She whispers in his ear, commanding him to bring her the baby with brown hair. The man, now under her spell, starts walking towards the temple.
In another scene, Vihaan is shown driving his car with his two brothers. He is visibly upset and emotional, haunted by the memory of Gauri’s apparent death. His brothers try to cheer him up, telling him he needs to move on. They remind him that it wasn’t his fault. To distract him, one brother shows him a cute picture of Golu on his phone. A faint, sad smile appears on Vihaan’s face as he looks at the baby’s picture, unaware that Golu is his own son.
Back at the temple, Nani is telling a story to a group of children, including Gauri and Golu. She narrates the tale of Lord Krishna and how he defeated powerful demons like Putana and Bakasur. As she speaks, the man controlled by the Dayan enters the courtyard. At the same time, the second Dayan transforms into a giant, monstrous bat and flies towards the temple. The bat creature swoops down and snatches Golu. Nani screams in terror, and Gauri is horrified.
Just then, Vihaan and his brothers arrive at the very same temple to return Gauri’s phone. As Vihaan steps out of the car, he is stunned to see a woman standing with her back to him, her face covered with a dupatta. When she turns, he is shocked to see that it is Gauri. She is crying, her eyes filled with terror and tears. Vihaan stands frozen, staring at the woman he believed to be dead. The episode ends on this dramatic face-off.
Review
This episode was a rollercoaster of emotions and supernatural drama. The pacing was excellent, effectively building suspense as Gauri and Nani tried to escape the relentless Dayans. The juxtaposition of Gauri’s desperate struggle with Vihaan’s silent grief was heart-wrenching. It was a powerful way to show how both are suffering, though unaware of each other’s reality. The revelation that the baby has both demonic and divine lineage adds an interesting layer to the plot, explaining his unique abilities and making him the central point of conflict. The highlight was undoubtedly the climax. The kidnapping of the baby by the bat-like Dayan was a well-executed visual, and the final scene where Vihaan and Gauri see each other after years was a perfect cliffhanger. It leaves the audience desperate to know what will happen next. The performances were strong, especially from the actors playing Vihaan and Gauri, who conveyed their pain and shock convincingly.
