The episode begins in a lavishly decorated hall. A man in black, Ansh, walks towards a beautiful two-tier birthday cake. In a fit of rage, he throws the cake on the floor, shattering it. He turns to face his shocked family. His mother asks what’s wrong, and he tearfully confesses that the darkness she fears is inside him. He admits that a part of him has always been evil and that he couldn’t fight it. He feels he failed to protect a woman who always fought for him. The family, including his mother, grandmother, and cousins, look on with sorrow and concern.
The scene shifts to the family praying before an idol of Lord Shiva and Parvati. Ansh’s mother tearfully prays for her son’s well-being and asks the deity to fulfill her wish. She pleads for the return of Gauri, who seems to have been gone for three years. The entire family joins her in prayer, their faces etched with worry.
We are then introduced to Gauri, a young woman living in a simple, rustic hut in the middle of a forest. She carries a bundle of firewood on her head. Later, Gauri and her now-conscious Nani are packing their bags to flee. Suddenly, Golu disappears from the table. They hear a car horn, and Gauri is horrified to see that Golu is being magically pulled away, floating out of the hut. She screams his name and runs after him as he floats towards the very mansion where Ansh and his family live. The episode ends with a shocking scene where Ansh and his cousins, driving their car, are forced to stop as a woman’s body, revealed to be a badly injured Gauri, falls in front of them, seemingly from the sky. Her body glows with a faint golden light as she lies unconscious on the road.
