Dhruv, Anu’s brother-in-law, joins in the celebration. In another part of town, Reet waits for Raghav at an outdoor food stall. When he arrives, he apologizes for being late, explaining the situation at home. She asks Unnati if she wants to win Dhruv back or just teach him a lesson. When Unnati declares she wants Dhruv at any cost, Buaji smiles sinisterly and advises her that to achieve something big, one must commit a ‘bada kaand’ (a big scandal), subtly pushing her towards more extreme actions.
The investigation takes a shocking turn as Reet and Virat arrive at the bungalow Buaji claimed Neeta had purchased. The nameplate reads ‘Ashray Nivas, No. 32B’. A man answers the door, and when they ask for Mrs. Neeta Chawla, he is confused. Another woman appears and clarifies that they are renting the house from a ‘Mrs. Sunita Chawla,’ not Neeta, and even offers to show them the rental agreement. Reet and Virat are stunned, realizing Buaji has been lying all along. The property was never Neeta’s.
