The performances were a major highlight. The actress playing Amrita Devi conveyed her character’s shift from anger to heartbreak and finally to guilt with great conviction. Priya, as the villain, was perfectly cunning and her eventual exposure was very satisfying to watch. While the plot point of using security camera footage to resolve the conflict is a bit of a common TV trope, it was used effectively here to provide undeniable proof and move the story forward. The only minor critique would be Rakesh’s character, who once again seemed a bit too passive when his wife was being wrongly accused.
