The episode opens with Bua Ma (Rishank’s aunt) instructing Bhavya to grind sandalwood paste for a ritual to please Chandradev (Moon God), taunting her about her weight and suggesting the manual labor will help her lose it while earning blessings. Bua Ma further demeans Bhavya by referencing her horoscope, claiming that Jupiter (Guru) in her first house is the reason for her inability to lose weight. Bhavya cleverly counters, stating that Guru in the first house signifies wisdom and the ability to protect her family. Impressed yet sarcastic, Bua Ma agrees.

Bhavya, feigning a cold, cleverly asks to wear a mask (a handkerchief provided by Akshay, Bua Ma’s loyalist) while grinding the sandalwood, to avoid contaminating it. Bua Ma, seeing through Bhavya’s potential plan to escape, instructs Akshay to keep a close watch on her, as she tasks Bhavya with filling a large bowl with sandalwood paste, a task that could take all night.

Once alone (with Akshay nearby), Bhavya discreetly uses her phone and earbuds to call her husband, Rishank. They discuss a presentation Rishank is supposed to give for a collaboration with designer Meera Kumar, focusing on a new saree line for pregnant women. Rishank is hesitant about the concept, which was Bhavya’s idea, feeling awkward about discussing maternity fashion. Bhavya, feigning disinterest to manipulate him, initially agrees he can’t do it, subtly prodding his ego by mentioning his gym focus is only on men. She then brilliantly shifts, suggesting prenatal yoga is a hit and this collection is a good idea. They brainstorm taglines, with Bhavya ultimately guiding Rishank towards more emotional and practical slogans like “Mamta sa mulayam, soot aur resham” (Soft as a mother’s love, cotton and silk) and “Feel free in a saree,” emphasizing comfort, ease of wear, pockets, and adjustable waistlines for pregnant and new mothers.

Meanwhile, Bua Ma, suspicious of Bhavya, calls Akshay, who confirms Bhavya is still grinding sandalwood. However, Bhavya has fallen asleep from exhaustion. The next morning, another older woman (Bua Ma in a white saree, possibly Nitin’s mother or another senior family member) wakes Bhavya by ringing a pooja bell, scolding her. She informs Bhavya that Rishank has already left for his presentation. Bhavya, worried, is then told by this Bua Ma and Sakshi (another female relative siding with Bua Ma) that she must also fast for a “Chandra Samarpan Puja” and prepare a “Chhappan Bhog” (56 dishes). Bhavya realizes this is a ploy to keep her busy.

Rishank, on his way to the office, calls Bhavya, suddenly backing out of the presentation, claiming it’s not his passion and he fears being stuck in the family’s saree business. He tells her Akshay or Bua Ma can handle it. Bhavya is distressed, knowing the importance of the deal.

At the Maheshwari Sarees office, Meera Kumar and other investors are waiting. Rishank’s father, Nitin Jaiswal, is also present. Akshay tries to stall as Rishank is absent. Just as Meera Kumar is about to leave, Bhavya arrives, apologizing for Rishank’s absence and confidently offers to give the presentation herself. Meera Kumar is skeptical, pointing out Bhavya is an architect. Bhavya astutely explains that as a (pregnant) woman, she can better convey the needs of pregnant women, and Rishank sent her keeping Meera’s comfort (as a pregnant woman herself) in mind. She then delivers a heartfelt and practical presentation on the “Ready to Wear Sarees for Pregnant Women” collection, using the taglines she and Rishank discussed. Meera Kumar and Nitin Jaiswal are visibly impressed. Akshay, meanwhile, seems to be recording or relaying this to Rishank.

Back home, Bua Ma (in white) taunts Sakshi that their plan to tire Bhavya with the Chhappan Bhog will help them oust her. Suddenly, Bhavya’s three aunts (Mausis) arrive with bags full of groceries, announcing they are there to prepare the Chhappan Bhog as per their tradition of serving at a daughter’s house during Chandra Samarpan Puja. Bua Ma and Sakshi are stunned. Bhavya had called one of her aunts, who confirmed no such elaborate ritual exists, and understood Bhavya’s plan to turn the tables.

Rishank, having received news of the successful presentation (presumably via Akshay), returns home. His father, Nitin, initially feigns anger but then proudly embraces Rishank, congratulating him on the successful collaboration with Meera Kumar, which was announced on the news. Nitin praises Rishank for turning a problem into an opportunity, unaware it was Bhavya’s save. Rishank, confused at first, realizes Bhavya’s intervention. Bua Ma is shocked when Akshay reveals Bhavya gave the presentation.

Rishank then confronts Bua Ma (in white). Understanding that Bua Ma was trying to sabotage his relationship by exposing their contract marriage (mistaking the deal papers she saw with their marriage certificate), Rishank defiantly burns their marriage certificate in front of her and Akshay, declaring Bhavya is more important to him and he won’t let Bua Ma succeed.

Later, in their room, Rishank apologizes to Bhavya, admitting his cowardice and praising her for saving the day and making his father happy. Bhavya, initially upset by his earlier abandonment, softens. He helps her fold a saree, and they share a tender, romantic moment, with the song “Kesariya” playing in the background, signifying a strengthening of their bond.

The episode ends with a promo: Bua Ma (in white) is irritated with Bhavya. Bhavya cheekily offers to apply balm for her headache, then remarks how Bua Ma’s “Chandra Samarpan Puja” greatly benefited her. She adds that she now needs to learn “how to hunt” from Bua Ma, comparing herself to a calm elephant that, if provoked, can overpower even a lioness, clearly indicating she is ready to fight back.

Major Recap Points:

  1. Bhavya Saves the Business Deal: Despite Bua Ma’s attempts to sabotage her and Rishank’s initial reluctance, Bhavya successfully steps in and delivers the crucial presentation for the collaboration with Meera Kumar, impressing everyone and saving her husband’s and father-in-law’s business reputation.

  2. Rishank Burns the Marriage Certificate (Defiance against Bua Ma): In a moment of defiance and realization of Bhavya’s importance, Rishank burns their marriage certificate in front of Bua Ma and Akshay, mistakenly believing Bua Ma was trying to expose their contract marriage using “deal papers.” This act, while based on a misunderstanding of which papers Bua Ma saw, solidifies his commitment to Bhavya over family pressure and schemes.

Plot Twists & Key Revelations:

  1. Bhavya’s Clever Mask Ploy: Bhavya feigning a cold to wear a mask (handkerchief) was a smart move to enable her to secretly communicate with Rishank via phone and earbuds while appearing to be engaged in the tedious ritual.

  2. Rishank’s Last-Minute Cold Feet: Rishank, despite initially agreeing to the presentation, gets scared and tries to back out, revealing his deep-seated fear of failing his father and being trapped in a business he dislikes.

  3. Bhavya’s Aunts Arriving for the “Chandra Samarpan Puja”: This was a brilliant counter-move by Bhavya. She used Bua Ma’s own made-up ritual against her by inviting her aunts, who then took over the “Chhappan Bhog” preparations, freeing Bhavya to go to the office.

  4. Akshay’s Loyalty Shift/Help: Akshay, who was initially Bua Ma’s spy, seems to have helped Bhavya by either informing Rishank about the successful presentation or relaying it live, leading to Nitin Jaiswal’s praise for Rishank.

  5. Rishank Burning the Marriage Certificate: This was a dramatic and unexpected act. While he thought he was destroying evidence of a business deal Bua Ma might use, he actually destroyed their legal marriage document, showing his desperation to protect Bhavya from Bua Ma’s schemes, even if based on a misunderstanding. This highlights a significant shift in his priorities.

  6. Bhavya’s Open Challenge to Bua Ma: Bhavya’s dialogue at the end, comparing herself to an elephant that won’t spare a lioness if provoked, is a direct challenge to Bua Ma, signaling that she is no longer a passive victim and is ready to fight for her place and her husband.

Predicted Outcomes (Next Episode/Arc):

  1. Fallout from the Burned Marriage Certificate: The immediate consequence will be the legal status of their marriage. Bua Ma might try to use this to her advantage, or it might force Rishank and Bhavya to confront the true nature of their relationship and decide if they want a “real” marriage.

  2. Bua Ma’s Escalated Schemes: Having been outsmarted by Bhavya and seeing Rishank’s growing affection and reliance on her, Bua Ma (and Sakshi) will likely intensify their efforts to separate Rishank and Bhavya, possibly trying to expose the original “contract” or create new misunderstandings.

  3. Rishank’s Increased Respect and Reliance on Bhavya: Witnessing Bhavya’s competence, quick thinking, and loyalty in saving the business deal, Rishank’s respect and love for her will deepen. He might start actively involving her in business decisions, further irking Bua Ma.

  4. The “Ready-to-Wear Saree” Line’s Success: The new saree line, conceptualized by Bhavya and pitched by her, will likely be a huge success, solidifying Bhavya’s value in the Maheshwari family business, much to Bua Ma’s chagrin. This could also become a point of contention if Rishank still wants to pursue his gym passion.

  5. Nitin Jaiswal’s Growing Support for Bhavya: Impressed by Bhavya’s business acumen and her positive influence on Rishank and the family business, Nitin Jaiswal might become a stronger ally for Bhavya against Bua Ma’s schemes.
