The episode opens with a heart-wrenching scene where Abhira, having traveled to Mount Abu to find Armaan, arrives at the “Hearth & Brew Cafe.” She peeks inside and is devastated to see Armaan proposing marriage to an injured Geetanjali, who is in a wheelchair accompanied by Daddu (Myra’s grandfather). Geetanjali accepts, and Abhira, in utter shock, drops her bag.
The narrative then flashes back to “Kuch samay pehle” (some time ago) in a hospital. Armaan’s daughter, Myra (also affectionately called Pooki by Abhira and “Myru” by Geetanjali), is injured with a bandaged head. She pleads with her “Papa” (Armaan) to make “Geetu” (Geetanjali) her mother, believing this will make her world perfect. Armaan is visibly distressed, trying to explain that relationships aren’t formed so easily. Doctors, including Kaveri Poddar’s husband, Anshuman, are present. Anshuman, holding a syringe, implies Myra needs an injection. Myra, however, refuses the injection unless Armaan agrees to her demand.
Geetanjali, also injured and in an adjacent bed, wakes up and lovingly interacts with Myra. Seeing Geetanjali awake, Myra agrees to the injection. The pressure on Armaan mounts. He’s shown in a flashback with Abhira, reminiscing about their happy past, including their wedding vows where they promised to be together “forever,” and a tender moment with their baby daughter, Pooki. This establishes Abhira as Pooki’s biological mother.
Back in the present (before the cafe scene), Abhira is in her hostel room, looking at a letter from Armaan. She realizes Dadisa was wrong about Armaan forgetting her and believes something significant must have happened. Determined to find the truth, she packs her bags for Mount Abu, remembering Pooki’s need for her parents.
The hospital flashback continues: Myra becomes extremely agitated when the doctor (Anshuman) approaches with the injection again, causing her vitals to fluctuate on the monitor. She cries out for Armaan, and Geetanjali also looks distressed. The doctor insists the injection is critical for Myra’s life. Under immense emotional pressure, and with Daddu and Geetanjali looking on, Armaan finally relents. He promises Myra that he, Geetanjali, and Myra will be “three forever together.” Myra happily calls Geetanjali “Mamma,” and Daddu captures a family photo.
Later, Armaan is seen alone in a desolate hospital storeroom, clutching Abhira’s passport-sized photo from his wallet. He tearfully apologizes to Abhira’s photo, confessing he still loves her but must break her heart because Myra is his priority and he can’t refuse her wish, especially after seeing her critical condition.
Meanwhile, Abhira, having left for Mount Abu, is almost hit by a car. The driver is revealed to be Anshuman, who looks shocked to see her but quickly speeds away, raising suspicion.
Back in the Poddar house, Dadisa and Vidya discover Abhira has left, leaving a note saying she’s gone out of town for important work. Vidya is worried, but Dadisa correctly deduces Abhira has gone to Mount Abu to meet Armaan.
The episode then returns to Abhira arriving at the cafe, leading to the shocking proposal scene. The episode concludes with a distraught Abhira witnessing Armaan’s proposal and Geetanjali’s acceptance.
